CRM + is a powdered food supplement based on creatine monohydrate, indicated for athletes.

Creatine is a derivative of the mineral acid (N-Aminomethyl-N-Methylglycine) found in abundance in meat and fish. It is synthesized in the human body mainly by the liver, from the amino acids methionine, arginine and glycine.

Creatine reaches myocytes in skeletal muscles through a sodium-dependent mechanism. It is present in 95% of muscle, 1/4 as free creatine and 3/4 as phosphocreatine (PCr). Creatine is transformed into phosphocreatine which is the energy reserve for muscle contraction, quickly available for the synthesis of new ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate).

There are many forms of creatine on the market, but different studies have shown that it is as effective as its parent, creatine monohydrate. Its main purpose, in subjects who exercise, is to promote the power and explosiveness of the exercises by breaking down the Phosphate into its PCr form. At the same time, muscle trophism increases, a very important fact related to the fraction of intramyocyte water that is retained as creatine increases, rather adducible to a real increase in muscle protein mass and (very interesting) linked to the stimulation of "satellite cells", with the formation of new myocytes. Results have been obtained using creatine as a supplement in endurance performance.

It is therefore ideal for the power exercises that almost all athletes must perform as part of their training, especially in blood sugar sports (all sprints, short and extended), in combat sports and in stop sports. and go ", typically paid by teams (rugby, basketball, hockey, football).
